Dianne de Guzman is an award-winning journalist and deputy editor for Eater SF covering the restaurant, bar, and pop-up scene in the East Bay and beyond. She writes and edits stories on a variety of topics, including new openings, trend pieces, in-depth profiles, and closures in the Bay Area hospitality industry. She’s been a journalist for over 10 years, and previously worked as the Food + Drink editor for SFGATE, public safety reporter for the Vallejo Times-Herald, a writer for SFist, and a web producer for the Los Angeles Times. She is a graduate of UC Berkeley and the University of Southern California, with a master’s degree in broadcast journalism, and was born and raised in the Bay Area.
